My professional development

My journey in the care and support sector began out of a genuine desire to help others, when at the age of 21, as a student at the Social Workers School, I took my first steps into volunteering. Working with individuals facing addiction shaped my approach to clients and defined my future career. I then began working as an addiction therapist, building my professional experience across three different rehabilitation centres and a mental health clinic. Working on the frontline showed me how complex the human psyche truly is. I felt that I needed deeper, more precise tools to provide real, lasting support. This awareness drove my passion for further intensive professional development. I graduated with a degree in Social Sciences, and the next natural step was to undertake professional training at a school for psychotherapists and trainers in the Gestalt modality. I was drawn to this approach because of its deep respect for the individual and its core focus on the therapeutic relationship. To further solidify my expertise, I also completed specialized training for addiction therapy specialists. My career took on an international dimension after moving to the United Kingdom, where I earned a British diploma in Integrative Counselling. Today, I combine Polish and British professional standards. I offer my clients a unique, holistic approach that integrates various therapeutic methods, always putting the person, their emotions, and a safe therapeutic relationship first. How I workI offer my services in-person in Plymouth (Devon) as well as through convenient online sessions for clients worldwide.
